MergeFlow Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using MergeFlow, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use MergeFlow. If you use MergeFlow on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Description of MergeFlow
MergeFlow is a Google Workspace add-on that helps you create and send personalized emails from recipient data in a Google Sheet and a message template in a Google Doc. MergeFlow validates recipient data, supports merge fields, provides previews and test emails, presents a review step, and sends messages through your authorized Google account.
Google Account Authorization
MergeFlow requires authorization from your Google account to access the Google Workspace files and services necessary to provide the features you request. This may include accessing campaign spreadsheets and document templates and sending messages at your direction. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may revoke MergeFlow's access at any time through your Google Account permissions.
Privacy
Your use of MergeFlow is also subject to the MergeFlow Privacy Policy, which explains how MergeFlow accesses, uses, and handles information. By using MergeFlow, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the recipient lists you provide
- the messages you create
- obtaining any consent legally required to contact recipients
- complying with applicable laws and policies
Email Sending and Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MergeFlow to send or facilitate:
- spam or unsolicited bulk email
- phishing
- fraud
- harassment
- illegal content
- deceptive messages
- messages that violate applicable email laws
- messages that violate privacy laws
- messages that violate Google policies
Compliance With Laws
You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to your messages and recipients, including email marketing, consumer protection, and data protection laws in the jurisdictions where you and your recipients are located.
Google Workspace Limitations
Sending limits are subject to Google account, Gmail, Google Workspace, Apps Script, and other Google-imposed quotas or restrictions. MergeFlow cannot increase these limits, and availability of sending may vary by account or Workspace edition.
Service Availability
MergeFlow is provided on an ongoing but evolving basis. Features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, including changes to Google services.
Intellectual Property
MergeFlow and its software, design, branding, trademarks, and other proprietary materials are owned by the operator of MergeFlow and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights in MergeFlow are transferred to you. You retain ownership of your own content, including your spreadsheets, documents, recipient data, and messages.
Third-Party Services
MergeFlow depends on Google services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. MergeFlow is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Disclaimer of Warranties
MergeFlow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that MergeFlow will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every message will be delivered.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MergeFlow and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or messages sent in error.
Termination
You may stop using MergeFlow at any time by uninstalling it or revoking its access in your Google Account. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if continued access would create legal or security risk.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will revise the effective date above. Continued use of MergeFlow after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the MergeFlow Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented in connection with the service, constitute the agreement between you and MergeFlow regarding your use of the service.
