How can we help?
Have a question about MergeFlow or need help with a campaign? We're here to help.
Troubleshooting
MergeFlow doesn't appear in Google Sheets or Docs
After installing, reload the spreadsheet or document tab. Add-ons appear under the Extensions menu, and add-ons may need to be enabled for the Google account you are currently signed in to.
Template isn't connecting
Confirm the Google Doc you selected is accessible to the same Google account running the campaign, and that the document has not been moved to the trash or had its sharing changed.
Merge fields aren't appearing
Merge fields come from the columns in your Google Sheet. Make sure the first row contains header names, that headers are not blank, and refresh the campaign after changing them.
Preview doesn't look right
MergeFlow supports common Google Docs formatting and inline images, but not every document feature is reproduced exactly. Simplifying unusual formatting in the template often resolves preview differences.
Test email wasn't received
Check spam and other Gmail tabs, and confirm the address of the Google account authorized for the campaign. Test emails do not mark campaign recipients as sent.
Campaign won't send
Confirm recipient rows contain valid email addresses and review the send step for reported issues. Sending is also subject to Google account, Gmail, Google Workspace, and Apps Script limits.
New recipients aren't appearing
Add the new rows to the Google Sheet associated with the campaign, then refresh the campaign so MergeFlow can identify recipients that have not previously been recorded as sent.
